I got a 2:2 in my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the University of Southampton. The reason behind my poor performance was the fact that I was homeless for the majority of my final year in 2013 as I had ran into unexpected financial troubles.

However, a year after, I have been striving hard to redeem myself as much as possible. I have been an intern with JP Morgan in Operations at Bournemouth last summer. I have also been able to secure a graduate scheme offer and I am currently working part time with them. This allows me to support my family in Mauritius.

I am progressing in my Masters at the Bournemouth University with a distinction thanks to the following grades: Enterprise Risk Management 75, Corporate Governance and Ethics 70, International Investment Management 70, Financial Reporting and Analysis 73, Business and Finance Economics 72, Contemporary Business Issues 78. I am now writing my dissertation and studying for the CFA professional qualification.
